Hello, my name is Willie McCain. I’m a U.S. Army veteran and a retired law enforcement officer. I’ve always loved being near lakes and the ocean, but I never learned how to fish. However, thanks to a retired Marine friend of mine who would fish every day if possible, I discovered the art of fishing. After feeling those first few bites, I was hooked. I never imagined that fishing would become one of my greatest hobbies, keeping me stress-free and content.
When I caught my first largemouth bass, the excitement was overwhelming, and I yearned to catch more. As a former Detective, I have an innate desire to understand the when, what, where, why, and how of everything I undertake. To excel at bass fishing, I realized I needed to find these answers. That’s the purpose of this website: to gain a deeper insight into the lives, thoughts, behaviors, and feeding patterns of bass fish.
